We can learn about history not only from ruins or treatises. Music can also be historical documents and give us clues as to what life was like in a given place at a given time: what worried people, what dreams moved them, what injustices made them sad or, on the contrary, what made them happy.

Mais Alto! is an annotated concert that was born at the LU.CA Theater in Lisbon and is now presented as a book-disc. It features songs by José Afonso, José Mário Branco, Rita Lee, Titãs, Nuno Prata, Clã and Luís Severo. There are also lyrics (so we can all sing along!) and some of the stories behind these creations.
