We make gestures all the time. Sometimes to replace words, others just as a habit. Often we make gestures without thinking, without grace or elegance and others are planned like a chess move, after a lot of consideration.

But what’s inside a gesture? Movement? Emotion? Ideas? Impulse? Dance? Is a gesture that we make really ours or is it a mix of our genetic heritage together with the environment where we were born and grew up?
