Manuela Castro Neves has been a teacher for many years.

Throughout this experience she has created several nursery rhymes inspired by early mathematical concepts. In these short stories, marked by the sonorous rhythm of repeating words and by the existence of patterns, math works as a kind of motto for the author to have fun and amuse all readers.
