Philippe Ug (b. 1958) is a French artist and illustrator, recognized above all as an excellent "paper engineer" and a reference in the creation of pop-up books. With more than 30 titles since 2000, Ug prints and produces his books by hand, silkscreening them into vibrantly colored paper sculptures that delight kids and adults alike. Drôle d'oiseau, Robopop, Corolles and Le Jardin des Papillons are some of the titles that confirm him as a master of the pop-up in France and around the world.
