One day, Mr. Cat is kicked out of his house. His owner, fed up with his mischief, throws him out of the window. By chance, he falls into a pair of red boots and, with them on and a cap he finds in the rubbish, he begins to wander alone through the city. 

He meets a rabbit, candid and foolish, whom he convinces with his chatter to be his adventurous companion. 

The two friends are hungry and, to get food, they will have to devise a good plan involving trickery and cunning, as well as the help of Elodie, who unintentionally manages to turn the story around.
