October at It's a Book
This month the Lisbon Architecture Triennale is coming to It's a Book to present its new children's book about architecture! And we'll have a workshop inspired by it with Yara Kono! See below for more information and this month's other workshops, which include a Halloween workshop!

Book presentation "Uma Casa é uma Montanha é um Chapéu" (A House is a Mountain is a Hat)

The Lisbon Triennale has launched a children's book about architecture!
With easy language, it explores the house in its many dimensions and its relationship with the world around it, from the door to the landscape and the imagination. In order to be accessible to blind or low-vision children, it has large print and Braille, and the colorful illustrations are duplicated in high relief, for them to see and feel. They are by Yara Kono from Planeta Tangerina, with tactile design by Locus Acesso.
We'll find out all about the process of this very special book. Don't miss it!

In this workshop we'll draw animals without paper, pencils or pens. Drawing materials will be left aside and sewing materials will come into play. Different fabrics and threads will be part of your creation!
