The world in 1914: hats, picnics and even horse racing were trendy, women wanted more rights, many people worked in factories, the Great War began (and ended four years later).

That same year, Lina Bo Bardi was born in Rome. Lina wants to become an architect and is firmly convinced that architecture cannot exist without people. She studies, designs, runs building sites, founds important magazines, travels, escapes the war, leaves for Brazil, meets famous architects and learns a lot from them.
