Joana Estrela is an author and illustrator. She studied Communication Design at the Faculty of Fine Arts of Porto, where she lives and works. From illustration to comics, she has been building a work of commendable creative freedom, capable of treating the most varied themes with a very unique humor, sensitivity and point of view. His books include Mana, winner of the 1st Serpa International Prize for Illustrated Album and the Amadora BD Prize for Best Illustration of a Children's Book - Portuguese Author; Rainha do Norte; Menino, Menina; and Propaganda.
