"Emplettes" is a virtuoso play on transparencies, with a page printed on PVC alternating between two cardboard pages. Unlike "Animals", which created silhouettes, here the play on transparencies reveals words: "Would you like some bread? "a whole exchange in a grocery store. Each page is surprising, with a touch of humor: 176 kilos of butter, a bill of 1,428 euros...

Jérémie Fischer's signature style is evident here: graphic simplicity, pure illustrations, perfect use of color, humor and whimsy. This book has already appeared in a very small print run, self-published and screen-printed by the author.
