Dick Bruna
Dick Bruna (b. 1927 - d. 2017, Utrecht) was a children's author and illustrator, known worldwide as the creator of the Miffy bunny. With a career spanning 60 years, he published 124 picture books, designed countless posters and book covers (as a graphic designer). But Miffy is undoubtedly his most famous and popular creation, inspired by the stories he told his son Sierk, the little white rabbit - cheerful, innocent and always ready to learn - has given rise to more than 30 books, translated into more than 40 languages, which have delighted generations of readers.
