Catarina Sobral is one of the best-known Portuguese illustrators of today, with incursions in the areas of animation cinema and theater for children. Graduated in Graphic Design and Illustration, she is the author of ten illustrated albums, namely: Greve, distinguished with a Special Mention in the National Illustration Award; Achimpa, elected Best Children's Book by the Portuguese Society of Authors; and O Meu Avô, which received the International Illustration Award at the Bologna Children's Book Fair.
