ATAK (aka Hans-Georg Baber) is one of the brightest and most dynamic artists on the Berlin art scene. Born in Frankfurt, he studied visual communication at the University of Berlin, was part of the punk scene in the former GDR and co-founded the comics magazine Renate. His work as a cartoonist, artist and illustrator has been exhibited in art galleries across Europe. ATAK has published several works for children and today, in addition to being a freelance artist, he teaches Illustration at the University of Halle.
